January 25, 2010. Lviv, Ukraine. Monument to the leader of ukrainina nationalists Stepan Bandera installed in the city of Lviv. Stepan Bandera was one of the leaders of Ukrainian national movement in (Galicia) Western Ukraine, who headed the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN).

January 21, 2010. Russian hunters recreate old imerial tradition of russian aristocracy of hunting with hounds.A group of people organized hunt with hounds in full costume at Mozhaisk `Avanpost` touristic base about 90 kilometers from Moscow. Costumes were loaned from a theatre for about $30 per day. Hound hunting involves using packs of dogs to chase bears, bobcats or cougars to exhaustion so they can be shot while they are helpless to escape.

Russian people believe that cold bathing on Epiphany gives strength, wealth and joy.Tens of thousands of people across Russia bathed in icy cold water on Epiphany on Tuesday as air temperatures across the country was really cold.In Moscow the air tempirature was minus 20. Epiphany, also known as Theophany, is one of the Great Feasts, marking the baptism of Jesus Christ by John the Baptist in the Jordan River and the beginning of his ministry, and the Russian Orthodox Church celebrates it on January 19 in line with the Julian calendar. On this day, while honoring an old Russian tradition, believers dive into ice holes, usually made in the form of a cross, in lakes, rivers and other water bodies.

December 28, 2009. Presumably unknown flying object over Red Square ( UFO )caught by camera while shooting near the Kremlin. According to the author it was invisible for an eye but his camera caught it. he was on the Red Square to shoot christmas tree and when he was back at home he noticed a strange object on one of the pictures. he consulted with russian ufo specialists and they say it is ufo!! you know it sounds quite funny but these people - they really believe in it. This image was published in Komsomolskaya Pravda russian daily

Russian constructor Grogory Kornev made a trip from the city of Tula to St.Petersburg (about 800 km.) using his transport device called `bicycle-mobile Green Wheel`` with 45 litres samovar on board. With this trip he wanted to promote the idea of tea drinking from Samovar according to old russian tradition but not drinking beer!!!
