June 21, 2011. June21,2011. Petrozavodsk,Russia. Petrozavodsk Tu-134 plane crash - 44 dead. A Moscow flight bound for the northern city of Petrozavodsk crash-landed on approach to its destination, killing 44 people. The RusAir air company evening flight to the capital of Karelia region was unable to reach the airport and crash landed on the highway one kilometer away from Petrozavodsk airport, falling apart and bursting into flames on impact.
