Bulgarian Archaeologists Preserve Skeleton of `1st European Man` | ||||||||||||||||||||
The 8000-year-old skeleton of a young man found near the village of Ohoden in Bulgaria has been taken to the Regional History Museum in Vratsa. The skeleton, already dubbed by the Bulgarian media as “the first European”, was discovered recently by archaeologist Georgi Ganetsovski who specializes in paleolithic settlements.
