Thousands of men wearing blue berets and striped T-shirts marked the Day of Paratrooper on Thursday, August 2, 2007.Former and current paratroopers brought brought chaos to some parts of Moscow. The Paratroopers Day was heavily promoted in Russia to raise the profile of the armed forces of Russia as well as national pride.As for tradition drunk paratroopers (sometimes with their ladies)do swim in the fountains of Central Park of Moscow.
